CALIDUCTION Dance organization is an entertainment dance and charitable group. CALIDUCTION provide service to schools with the support of indy artists and partnering non-profits, in addition to providing a source of hiphop infused Afro-dancehall dance aesthetic in Southern California through performances at events. In 2014, Co-Directors Kaay Cee and Lil Beast decided to blend their African and Caribbean heritage with hiphop and modern dance. CALIDUCTION evolved to become a dance group that not only reflects different dance disciplines but also harnesses music by African and Caribbean artists. Co-Directors also strive to present a distinct “California” hiphop flavor to their dance routines and choreography. CALIDUCTION strives to bring back the gritty “dance in the street” vibe popularized by the clown dancing, stripper dancing, crumping and bucking movements which were established in Los Angeles in the early and mid 2000s. Caliduction also includes “Caliduction girls” (model ambassadors) that help host events, make appearances and participate in charity initiatives.
Services Provided include: Motivational Speaking, Dance Performances, Hosting, Providing African/ Caribbean models ie Caliduction girls for events and choreography for artists, individuals or dance groups.
“The roles of the Dance Team, its members and Cali Gyal Model Ambassadors are to represent the Caliduction charitable dance brand in areas such as events, rallies, promotional activities, public relations efforts, and community service related projects.” – Lil Beast (Co-Director)
